Backwash valve has two positions: NORMAL and BACKWASH. In
NORMAL, the valve closes the backwash inlet and allows raw water to
flow through the ROWPU. In BACKWASH, the raw water inlet is
closed and water is allowed to flow through the backwash inlet. After
backwashing, the valve should be returned to the NORMAL position.
