TEST OR INSPECTION
1. ALL PUMPS INOPERABLE.
High voltages in this equipment can cause serious injury or death. When applying power
during a test, take proper measures to ensure safety of personnel. Never work on
electrical equipment unless there is another person nearby who is familiar with the
operation and hazards of the equipment.
Check Model number of ROWPU.
If model is WPES-20 or H-9518-2, troubleshoot and repair power source.
If model is WPES-10, H-9518-1, WPES-30 or H-9518-3, go to step 2.
Shut down generator and disconnect generator cable, from jack J-1 on junction box.
Start generator and apply power to ROWPU.
Check for 208 VAC, three phase power at P1 (power input plug) of generator cable. Check between pins A-B,
A-C and B-C.
If 208 VAC is measured in all three tests, notify Direct Support Maintenance.
Check for 208 VAC, three phase power at generator output lugs. Check between lugs L1 - L2, L1 - L3 and
If 208 VAC is measured in all tests, replace generator cable. Refer to Paragraph 2-56.
If 208 VAC is not measured in all tests, refer to generator manual.
