Disassembly.

Remove two thumbscrews (9) and cover (10).

Turning crankshaft will move crossheads in and out.
Turn crankshaft (11) for best position of coupling nut (12) and, using two wrenches unscrew coupling nuts
( 12) on plungers (25) from crossheads ( 13).
Using gland adjustment tool as illustrated, loosen gland nuts (26).

Fluid cylinder is heavy/difftcult to handle and must be supported while it is being
separated from power frame to prevent injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
Remove two nuts ( 14) and carefully separate fluid cylinder (15) from power frame (44),
Remove eight screws (16), cover (17), three caps ( 18) and packing ( 19).
Remove cap screws (20), valve guides (21), springs (22) and disks (23) on all three channels.
Using valve removal tool, remove valve seats (24) as illustrated.
WARNING
Plungers are coated with ceramic material that can brake or flake off if not handled
carefully.

Remove three plungers (25), gland nuts (26) and packing bushings (27).

As required, remove retaining rings (28) and nuts (12) from plungers (25).

Remove eight screws (29) and plate (30).

Remove stuffing boxes (3 1) and packing (32).

Remove packing (33) and packing bushings (34) from stuffing boxes (3 1).

Remove three capscrews (35), valve guides (36), springs (37 and 38) and discs (39).

Remove valve seats (40), using valve seat removal tool as illustrated.
(15)
If required, remove studs (43) and plugs (41 and 42).
NOTE
If liquid head is to be disassembled in place (without first removing entire pump
assembly), it is necessary to remove pipe sections between pump and cartridge filter and
between pump and pulse dampener first.
