NOTE
The float assembly and valve seat can be removed and installed without removing the tank
assembly.

Repair. Repair any parts that are not unserviceable.

Replace. Replace all unserviceable parts.

Reassembly.
(1)
Install valve seat (16, fig. 4-56) with gasket (17) in bottom tank (21).
(2)
Screw nipple (15) in valve seat (16), elbow (14) on nipple (15), and adapter (13) in elbow (14).
(3)
Screw elbow (29) in threaded flange on side of tank (18).
(4)
Screw float needle valve (20) in each end of float and install needle valve seat (19) over one needle valve.
(5)
Lower float with needle valve seat (19) down into tank.
(6)
Position bracket (22) in tank over needle valve (20) with mounting screw holes aligned with holes in tank.
(7)
Insert two machine screws (28) through tank and bracket and secure with nuts (23) and washers (24). Be
sure the upper float needle valve can move freely in the bracket.
f.
Installation.
(1)
Position dilution tank (11, fig. 4-56) on side of chemical slurry feeder (1) and secure with screws (12),
using washers (24) and nuts (23).
(2)
Secure bottom of tank with screw (20) and washers (26 and 31).
(3)
Position flare nut (10) on elbow (9) and tighten nut.
(4)
Connect plastic tubing (7) to adapter (8) at bottom of tank (11).

Removal.

Remove tool box from van body (para. 4-20).
(2)
Remove following components:
(a)
Piping and tubing as necessary (para. 4-90).
