BACKWASH TIMER. The backwash timer automatically starts and ends the different stages
backwash cycle.

When backwashing within 4 hours of the previous backwash, rotate the
reconditioning knob (fig. 2-70) clockwise to idle position. If knob is not in idle
position when backwash switch is activated, backwash cycle will not be in
proper sequence.
