Attach 3/4 in. hose section to foot valve nipple. Attach other end of hose section to outlet of priming
pump.

Attach 3/4 in. hose section to strainer. Attach other end of hose to inlet of priming pump.

Install threaded rod through cam adapter, gasket, and pump flange. Place flatwasher, lockwasher, and
nut on each end of rod. Hand-tighten nuts, leaving equal lengths of rod at both ends. Repeat for other
three rods.

Tighten eight nuts alternately and equally.
