RAW WATER PUMP NO. 2 CIRCUIT BREAKER (CB4) AND/OR OVERLOAD HEATERS TRIP.
WARNING
High voltages in this equipment can cause serious injury or death. When applying power
during a test, take proper measures to ensure safety of personnel. Never work on
electrical equipment unless there is another person nearby who is familiar with the
operation and hazards of the equipment.
Step 1. Remove power at power source, reset CB4 and/or heater assembly and disconnect wires from T1, T2
and T3 of CB4.
Step 2. Turn on power at power source and momentarily flip pump switch to START.
If circuit breaker CB4 trips (TRIPPED window will show white if tripped), check for bare/disconnected
wires in junction box and tighten/replace them. If trouble persists, replace CB4. Refer to Paragraph 3-
53.
Step 3. Remove power at power source, reconnect wires to CB4 and disconnect pump at junction box, J4.
Step 4. Turn on power at power source and momentarily flip pump switch to START.
If heater assembly is tripped, check for defective heaters, replace as necessary (Paragraph 3-61) and
reset heater assembly.
Step 5. Remove power at power source.
Step 6. Disconnect cable assembly at raw water pump motor (Paragraph 2-19) and check it for shorts.

If a short is indicated, repair cable assembly. Refer to Paragraph 3-'i1.

If cable assembly is not shorted, repair pump. Refer to Paragraph 3,-12
