HEATER ON/
Controls operation of water heater. Placing the switch to
PURGE ON
PURGE ON energizes the fuel and ignition drive motor. Plac-

ing the switch to HEATER ON closes the fuel pump solenoid
valve, admits fuel into the combustion chamber, and fires the
boiler. Placing the switch to PURGE ON circulates fuel
through the fuel pump and back to supply. There is no off
position on this switch.
