2-12. STOPPING THE PUMP UNIT.

a. Reduce engine speed to idle by turning the throttle on the control paneI counter-
clockwise. (Engine speed will decrease and pump pressure will drop.)
CAUTION
After removing the load, allow engine to run at idle RPM for at least 15
minutes before shutting down.
b. Close the FUEL SHUT-OFF valve (1) on the control panel. Fuel from the gaso-
line tank is gravity fed to the carburetor and will flood the engine if the FUEL
SHUT-OFF VALVE is left open.
c. Close the finger nut (2) on the sediment bowl beneath the fuel tank.
d. Turn the start-magneto switch to STOP.
