The ROWPU is now in full operation. Check the TDS of the product water (para. 232c), record the
findings in operators log. If reading is above 1500 ppm, refer to Section II, Chapter 3, Troubleshooting. Keep
watching your gages and lamps. Complete the operators record (log) hourly. Refer to Table 2-4 for normal and
trouble point indications.

Periodically check the brine tank.

(2) Full? Up to 3 inches from top?
(3) When brine tank is full, remove the canvas brine hose coming from the ROWPU and allow to
drain on the ground.
Ensure that the drained brine water runs towards lower ground as far from the
raw water source as possible.
