3-14. HAND CRANK ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT/REPAIR

Remove three bolts and lockwashers. Remove handle device.

Remove bolt, flatwasher, wheel gear, ring, and woodruff key from flanged shaft.

Remove flanged shaft.

Remove three screws and spring washers.
6
Tag and remove three wires.

Remove magnet-generator.

Assembly

Install magnet-generator.

Install three wires. Remove tags.

Install three spring washers and screws.
4
Install flanged shaft.
5
Install woodruff key, ring, wheel gear, flatwasher, and bolt.

Install handle device.
7
Install three lockwashers and bolts.
NOTE
Step 8 applies only if the starting handle is in use.

Install starting handle on shaft. Twist handle to right to secure.

Install hand crank assembly.

Install eight lockwashers and bolts.
