DISASSEMBLY.

WARNING
Ensure electrical power is disconnected and switch is tagged before working on unit.
Failure to do so could result in serious injury from electrical shock or moving parts.
WARNING
Ensure high pressure air line is vented. Failure to do so could result in serious injury
or death.
Open valve (9, Figure 2-77) to relieve high pressure air.
Disconnect metal piping (1).
Disconnect quick disconnect (2).
Remove two nuts (3), Iockwashers (4), washers (5) and U-bolt (6). Spacer (7) is now free.
Unscrew safety relief valve (8) and drain valve (9).
Remove pipe nipple (10) and adapter (11) from cross (1 5).
Remove quick disconnect (12) and elbow (1 3). Dust cover (14) and cross (15) are now free.
h. Remove capscrews (16), Iockwashers (1 7), washers (1 8) and remove bracket (1 9).
a. Replace high pressure relief valve (8) if defective.
b. Replace any other damaged or defective part.
REASSEMBLY.
a. Wrap antiseize tape on all pipe threads prior to installation.
b. Install bracket (19) and secure with capscrews (16), Iockwashers (1 7) and washers (1 8).
c. Assemble relief valve (8), adapter (11), nipple (10), valve (9), elbow (13), dust cover (14) and quick disconnect
(12) on cross (1 5).
d. Install the subassembly on bracket (19) and secure with U-bolt (6), Iockwashers (4), washers (5) and nuts (3).
e. Connect quick disconnect (2) and metal tube (1).
