Wipe motor with a clean
cloth dampened with an ap-
proved cleaning solvent
(P-D-680).
Check oil level and lubri-
cate in accordance with lu-
bricating order, LO 10-
4610-239-12/LI 08580B-12
Inspect for signs of over-
heating or too much wear.
NOTE
A new pump may run hotter for a
few days. Change oil before first
startup; watch oil level during
break-in period.
Listen for uneven, knocking

Inspect drain tube end to
