BACKWASH OPERATION FAILS TO STOP.
Step 1.
Check If timer is tripped.

If timer is tripped, press PUSH TO RESET switch and go to step 2.

If timer Is not tripped, go to step 3.
Step 2.
Restart backwash operation.

electrical equipment unless there is another person nearby who is familiar with the
operation and hazards of the equipment and who is competent in administering first
aid.
Step 3
Check for 115 VAC on terminal board, TB-1 and TB-2 (ground) in timer.

If voltage is not measured, notify Direct Support Maintenance.

BACKWASH PUMP STOPS DURING AND/OR FAILS TO START IN MULTIMEDIA FILTER CLEANING
OPERATION.
Step 1
Check If CB2 and/or K2 heater assembly in junction box are tripped.
If either are tripped, go to step 2 of Malfunction 3, Backwash Pump Assembly.
Step 2
Check If stager cycles.
If stager cycles, go to step 2 Malfunction 3, Backwash Pump Assembly.
