WARNING
High voltages in this equipment can cause serious injury or death. When applying power
during a test, take proper measures to ensure safety of personnel. Never work on
electrical equipment unless there is another person nearby who is familiar with the
operation and hazards of the equipment.
Step 6. Shut down power at generator and perform a continuity check of power circuit as follows. Make
additional point-to-point checks as necessary to find defective component:
NOTE
To check continuity through K1, it is necessary to physically push up relay plunger while making the check.
J1, A - J6(A)
J1, B - J6(B)

If continuity is absent through heater assembly, replace heaters (Paragraph 3-61) and reset heater
assembly.
b.
If continuity is absent through CB1, replace CB1. Refer to Paragraph 3-53.
c.
If continuity is absent through K1 (see above note) replace motor starter. Refer to Paragraph 3-61.
d.
If continuity is absent through wires, tighten loose connections or' replace defective wire.
