Section II. OPERATION UNDER USUAL CONDITIONS
WARNING
Decon solution is a burn hazard in sensitive areas. Keep decon
solution out of eyes, wounds, and mouth. Do not use wipes to decon
upper part of your face. Use water to wash toxic agent or decon
solution out of eyes or wounds and seek medical treatment.
Do not use Training Aid below +32F.
The complete decon (wipe 1 and 2) of the face must be done
as quickly as possible, 3 minutes
2-3. Operating Procedures. When you find or detect agent on your skin or a buddy sees it and tells
you, act immediately. Decon only if you have agent on your skin.
a. Don your mask and hood. Do not zip the hood. Do not pull the draw strings. Do not
fasten the shoulder straps.
b. Seek overhead cover or use your poncho for protection against further contamination.
