HEATER FUEL SYSTEM PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION.
Fuel is supplied to the burner from a five gallon (18.9 liter) fuel can. Air
from the combustion air fan provides a positive pressure in the fuel can. A
coarse filter is located on the inlet to remove the larger particles from the
fuel.
The fuel then passes to the fine filter to remove the smaller particles.
From the engine driven fuel pump, fuel is forced through a magnetic valve and
check valve to the burner fuel jet. Unused fuel is bypassed back to the fuel
can.
