Check air station 6 outlet PIG launcher controls as follows: CAUTION Shore discharge hose must remain free from oil and dirt.  Use only designated 25-ft air hose on compressed air station 6 for supplying compressed air to power PIG through shore discharge hose. 1)   Hold clean, white, dry cloth in front of air station 6 outlet and turn valve counterclockwise to open.  Blow com- pressed air through cloth.  Smell air coming out of air valve.  If air smells oily or specks of dirt, oil or grease show on cloth, check oil level in air compressor. 2)   If oil is overfilled, drain to authorized Oil is present in level Change air filter and repeat air line. quality check with white cloth.  Con- tinue until air station 6 is free of oil smell and stain. 4 Air Impact Wrench WARNINGS Always wear safety glasses when operating air impact wrench. Use only Impact wrench sockets.  DO NOT use sockets from a hand wrench set. a.   Make sure compressed air system has been purged of moisture within last 4 hours If not, open drain cock on bottom of air filter 1 until all moisture has been drained from system. b.   Check all air station valves and quick-dis- Valves and/or connect fittings for damage or improper quick disconnect operation.  Notify shift leader or barge- fittings damaged master of any problem. or inoperable.
