Remove nipple and reducer from WASTE connection.

Remove elbow from WASTE connection.
NOTE
Steps 37 thru 42 are general instructions for replacing any section of pipe.

Measure length of pipe needed. Cut pipe square.

Using file, put 100 to 150 chamfer on the pipe.

Using clean rag, wipe the pipe surface and fitting socket to remove all dirt, moisture, and grease.

Check fit of pipe and fittings. Pipe should enter socket to fittings about one-third to three-
quarters of total fitting depth.

Aline pipe and fittings. Mark alinement. Disassemble pipe and fittings.
CAUTION
Cement dries quickly. Make sure pipes are alined before cement dries.

Put cement on pipe ends. Using alinement marks, assemble pipe and fittings. Let cement dry.
