a. Remove four nuts (1, Figure 2-54), four Iockwashers (2), eight flat washers (3) and four capscrews (4).
WARNING
To avoid injury, three people are required to lift the tank.
CAUTION
The clean/flush tank is a fiberglass tank and can be easily damaged. Avoid sharp
corners or edges, pay particular attention to the pedestal base corners.
b. Remove clean/flush tank lid (5) and remove clean/flush tank (6) out of ROWPU.
c. Remove four capscrews (7), four Iockwashers (8) and flat washers (9).
d. Remove pedestal base (1 O).
a. Replace damaged components.
b. Weld pedestal base, if required, in accordance with TM 9-237.
a. Position pedestal base (1 O) and secure with four capscrews (7), four Iockwashers (8), and four flat washers (9).
WARNING
To avoid injury, three people are required to lift the tank.

b. Install clean/flush tank(6) and secure with four capscrews (4), eight flat washers(3), four Iockwashers (2) and four
nuts (1). Install lid (5).
