a. Turn compressor ON/OFF switch to OFF.
b. Close air tank valve (1, Figure 2-56),
WARNING
The air filter blowdown valve and solenoid block valve must be bled (open) before
removing the solenoid valve. Failure to do so could result in serious injury from high
pressure air.
c. Open air filter blowdown valve (2) and solenoid block valve (3) to release air pressure LEAVE OPEN.
d. Remove table panel (4) as follows:
(1) Remove four nuts (5) and washers (6).
(2) Remove four capscrews (7) and two tie down brackets (8).
(3) Remove four screws (9) from panel (4).
(4) Slide panel from under storage box (10).
e. Unscrew tubing nuts on elbows (12) and(13) and remove tubing(11 ).
f. Unscrew tubing nut on fitting (15) and remove tubing (1 4).
g. Disconnect electrical cable P28(16) from main harness J28.
h. Remove nuts (1 7), Iockwashers(18) and fIat washers(19) from U-clamp (20). Remove clamp (20).
i. Remove solenoid valve (21).
a. Unscrew fitting ( 15) from solenoid valve (21 ).
b. Unscrew block valve (3), nipple (22), and elbow(12) from solenoid valve (21).
