(2) Remove four screws (32) and heat exchanger housing cover (33).
(3) Remove two screws (34), lockwashers (35) and sensor (36) from cover (33).
(4) Remove heat exchanger (37).
e. Remove fuel line bulkhead fitting (40) as follows:
(1) Remove fuel hose (16) from fitting (38).
(2) Remove nut (39) and bulkhead fitting (40).
REPAIR.
Repair by replacing worn or damaged components.
REASSEMBLY.
a. Install fuel line bulkhead fitting (40) as follows
(1) Install bulkhead fitting (40) and secure with nut (39).
(2) Install fuel hose (16) on fitting (38).
b. Install heat exchanger (37) as follows:
(1) Position heat exchanger (37) in heater housing.
(2) Install sensor (36) on cover (33) and secure with two Iockwashers (35) and screws (34).
(3) Install heat exchanger cover (33) and secure with four screws (32). Connect electrical leads (31 ) to sensor (36)
and junction block (6) as tagged.
c. Install burner head assembly as follows:
(1) Install igniter assembly (13) and glow plug (25) in burner head assembly (29).
(2) Install burner head assembly (29), gasket (30) and secure with screws (27) and washers (28).
(3) Install hose (3) on burner head assembly (29) and secure with clamp (26).
(4) Install electrical lead (24) as tagged to glow plug (25) and secure with nut (23). Attach lead (24) to junction block
(6).
CAUTION
The carburetor is connected to the burner head by tubing. When installing carbure-
tor, take care not to damage tubing.
(5) Install carburetor (17) and tube (22) and secure with screws (21 ).
(6) Connect electrical leads (18, 19 and 20) to junction block (6) as tagged.
(7) Connect fuel hose (16) to carburetor (1 7).
d. Install ignition pack assembly (15) as follows:
(1) Install ignition pack (15) with ground wire. Secure with two screws (14).
(2) Connect electrical lead (12) to ignition assembly (1 3).
(3) Install junction block (6) and secure with two capscrews (11), washers (10) and nuts (9).
e. Install blower assembly (8) as follows:
(1) Install blower assembly (8) and secure with four screws (7).
(2) Install electrical leads (4 and 5) to junction block (6) as tagged.
(3) Install hose (3) on blower assembly (8) and secure with clamp (2).
(4) Install clamp (1).
