Checking the Unpacked Equipment.

Inspect equipment for damage incurred during shipment. If
equipment has been damaged, report the damage on SF 364,
Package Improvement Report.
Check equipment against packing slip to see if shipment is
complete.
Report all discrepancies in accordance with instruc-
tions of DA PAM 738-750.
See that special tools components of
end item and basic issue items are with the equipment.
Techni-
cal manuals must be present.
Check to see whether equipment has been modified. Refer to
DA PAM 310-1.
Reject if:
Parts are missing, parts are deformed, rust/corro-
sion is visible.
Inspect to make sure stencil markings are present and readable.

INTRODUCTION.
a.
Purpose of PMCS Table.
The purpose of this table is to list all the
scheduled maintenance required to keep the decontaminating apparatus in good
working order.
Doing the scheduled maintenance will reduce the chances of
equipment breakdown.
b.
Item Number Column.
This column numbers the PMCS procedures in
the order they should be done.
These numbers will be used as a source of
item numbers for the TM Number" column on DA Form 2404, Equipment Inspec-
tion and Maintenance Worksheet, in recording the results of PMCS.
c.
Item to be Inspected Column.
This column lists the specific item to
be worked on such as water pump.
d.
Procedure Column.
This column tells you how to perform the re-
quired checks and services.
