Verify that suction hose strainer is submerged in the sol-ution.Install heater fuel can (page 2-22).Install engine fuel can (page 2-21).set FUNCTION SELECTOR switch to OFF.Turn the BURNER FUEL VALVE fully clockwise.Prime the carburetor, and start engine (page 2-24).If engine is difficult to start or runs rough after initial start,close the choke momentarily, then open again. Repeat the open-closeprocessuntil the engine runs unaided. Choke must remain openduring normal operation Do not over choke, carburetor flooding mayresult.After engine has started and is running smoothly, set throttle toMAX speed.set FUNCTION SELECTOR switch to SH0WERS.Lag time of WATER TEMPERATURE gage is about one minute.Wait until WATER TEMPERATURE gage shows about 10°C (50°F);don’t exceed 20°C (68°F).Verify that BURNER FUEL VALVE is fully clockwise.Set FUNCTION SELECTOR switch to OFF.Allow engine to run for 2 minutes before proceeding to next step.Remove engine fuel can from unit, and place on ground. Drain fuelfrom fuel line into fuel can by squeezing ball pump.Position fuel hose in fuel can opening so that strainer remains infuel can, but above fuel.Change 12-42.3
