(3) After machine has idled for five
minutes, begin to operate all
controls slowly:
transmission in all
ranges
including
reverse;
differential
lock
engaged and
disen-
gaged;
parking and service
brakes applied and
released;
steering from full left
to full right; and
water
distributor
hydraulic control (tank
lift cylinder circuit).
(4) Operate controls for another
five minutes.
(5) Move machine and operate all
controls through full motion, to
bring all systems to operating
temperature.
CAUTION
When exercising water pump, pump control switch may
only be turned on momentarily (not to exceed three sec-
onds) without water in system, to avoid possible damage to
water pump.
(6) Verify operation of vacuum
generator, pump, and water dis-
tributor control panel as fol-
lows:
