b. Driving Arms.
(1) Location. The driving arms are attached
to the chemical solution feeder by a main shaft that
extends through the feeder housing.
(2) Purpose. The driving arms drive the two
lever arms.
c. Lever ARms.
(1) Location. There are two lever arms at-
tached to the top of the chemical solution feeder.
(2) Purpose. The lever arms are used to actu-
ate the diaphragm push rods and springs, and oper-
ate the diaphragm pumps of the chemical solution
feeder. When necessary, after two wingnuts and
washers have been loosened, the lever arms can be
used to prime the diaphragm pumps.
