(3) Install elbow (5) on nipple (6), nipple in tee (7), tee on nipple (8) and nipple in tee with union (9).
(4) Install two slip joint couplings (1) on pipes (2), pipes in valves (3), valves on nipples (4) and nipples (4) in
elbow (5) and tee (7).
(5) Install assembled piping in van body (8, fig. 4-74), and connect elbow union (3), and two slip joint
couplings (2).
(6) Install adapter (5) in van body (8) and coupling (4).
(7) Position hose (7) on adapters and secure with two hose clamps (6).
(8) Install waste water tank and grating (para 4-76).
4-96. WASTE WATER PIPING BETWEEN WET WELL AND ERDLATOR TANK OUTLET PIPING.
a. Removal and Disassembly.
(1) Disconnect slip joint coupling (6, fig. 4-76) from pipe (7) and swing pipe (5) clockwise 1/4 turn and
remove slip joint coupling (6), pipe (5), elbow (4), and nipple (3), then bushing (2) from weir box (1).
(2) Disconnect elbow with union (1, fig. 4-77) and remove union half from wet well tank (2) and reconnect it
to elbow half of union.
(3) Remove assembly of piping from van body.
