5-50 Fan assembly, disassembly
a.
Measure and record distance between fan pulley and adjusting bracket. This measurement will be utilized for
reassembly.
b.
Remove fan pulley from shaft with a puller.
c.
Place bracket assembly in an arbor press and, using a suitable sleeve to press on bearing outer race, press
bearing and sleeve out of bracket.

WARNING
Cleaning solvents are dangerous and can be toxic. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Observe all
precautions stated on the container, and never put solvents in unmarked containers.
a.
Cleaning. Clean all parts except bearings and seals with cleaning solvent and dry thoroughly.
