(f) Start the engine and allow the
grease to expand.
(g) Stop engine. Install the plug in the
lower grease pipe and wipe off
excess grease.
(h) Install the cowl cover.
b. Remove red tag from affected SSG
switchboard panel.

WARNING
Make sure all electrical components are
electrically dead before starting any clean-
ing or Inspection procedures. Circuit break-
ers must be open (OFF) and appropriately
tagged to avoid accidental activation during
these procedures.
CAUTION
Never overfill crankcase. Fill only to maxi-
mum level as indicated on dipstick.

Engine
a. Check crankcase engine oil level on dip-
stick on left side of engine. If not up to
FULL mark, add lubricating oil through
filler on top of engine. Use SAE 15W40
that meets MIL-L-2104 (API CDI). If tem-
perature in voids consistently exceeds
120oF, use SAE 40.
WARNING
At operating temperature, engine coolant is
hot and under pressure. To avoid personal
injury, check coolant level only when engine
Is stopped and the filler cap is cool enough
to be opened with a bare hand.
