Batteries
WARNING
Fumes from batteries may be flammable
and explosive. Do NOT smoke or have open
flame when checking or working on battery
bank. Battery electrolyte presents potential
health hazards. Contact with eyes and skin
should be avoided. Safety glasses, gloves,
and rubber aprons must be worn when han-
dling this chemical. Electrolyte contains sul-
furic acid which can cause severe burns and
is highly toxic to skin, eyes, and respiratory
system.

Crankcase
Check and maintain the crankcase ventila-
ton system as follows:
1) Empty and clean glass collecting bowl
located at bottom of filtering system.
(a) Remove bowl by pulling down
metal tab of cage holding the
bowl.
(b) Unsnap wire cage on each side of
bowl bottom.
(c) Remove bowl, wipe with clean
cloth. Do not use abrasives.
(d) Replace bowl in reverse order.
2) Change engine crankcase filter sys-
tem vapor filter element.
(a) Snap off two metal dips on top of
filter body.
(b) Lift off top and replace element.
Discard and replace with new ele-
ment.
(c) Reinstall in reverse order.
