DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE ACROSS MULTMEDIA FILTERS (PI-I) - (PI-2) EXCEEDS 35 PSIG.
Step 1.
Check MEDIA FILTER OK light.
Backwash multimedia filters. (See TM 10-4610-229-10.)
Step 2.
Check operation of gages.
Replace defective gages (para 2-69).
Step 3.
Check valve V-4 for proper positioning.
Open valve V-4. (See TM 104610-229-10.)
HIGH PRESSURE PUMP ASSEMBLY
PUMP MALFUNCTIONS
1.
PUMP FAILS TO OPERATE (NO LIQUID DELIVERY).
Step 1.
Check water pressure from pretreatment assembly.
Correct water pressure. (See TM 10-4610-229-10.)
Step 2.
Check V-belts tension.
Adjust or replace V-belts (para 2-81).
Step 3.
Check for obstruction in suction hose and inlet.
Remove obstruction from hose and inlet.

LOW OUTLET PRESSURE.
Step 1.
Check suction hose for air leak.
Repair or replace hose (para 2-11).
