Connect line kit to nozzle tester.

Connect 14 mm banjo adapter to end of high pressure line.

Turn the valves on the nozzle tester to the following positions:
Pump isolator valve: OPEN
On/Off valve: CLOSED
Gage protector valve: CLOSED

Disconnect fuel delivery line for no. 3 cylinder from injection pump.

Connect drip tube to fuel injector no. 3 cylinder valve.
WARNING
The line kit contains a safety valve set for 600 psi. Tampering with the safety valve could cause damage to injection
pump and injury to personnel.

Disconnect low pressure feed line from injection pump.

Connect high pressure line from nozzle tester with two new 14 mm gaskets.

Connect fuel delivery line from no. 3 cylinder injection nozzle to line kit.

Place run stop lever one-half way between run and stop.

Pump handle on nozzle tester until bubble-free fuel comes from drip tube.

Pump handle while slowly rotating crankshaft right until pointer shows 280 before tdc.
NOTE
With pointer on 280 before tdc, one drop of fuel should emerge from drip tube every 4 or 5 seconds. If so, go to step 35.

Loosen four injection pump mounting nuts.

Move injection pump toward-or away from engine until one drop of fuel emerges from drip tube every 4 or 5
seconds.
