Mount turbocharger on workbench. Mark compressor housing and cartridge housing for alinement.

Remove V-clamp.

Remove compressor housing and seal.

Remove V-clamp.

Mark turbine housing and cartridge housing for alinement. Remove cartridge housing from turbine housing. Set
turbine housing aside.
CAUTION
When compressor nut is loosened, do not put a side force on shaft. Damage to turbocharger can
result.

Place cartridge housing in vise. Remove compressor wheel nut. Remove compressor wheel.

Remove turbine wheel and shaft from cartridge housing.

Remove seal ring from shaft.

Remove snapring.

Using puller, remove insert.

Remove sleeve from insert.

Remove two seal rings.

Remove deflector, ring, bearing, and ring from cartridge housing.

Remove sleeve from end of turbine shaft.
16
Remove snapring holding bearing in cartridge housing.

Remove bearing.
18
Remove other snapring.
19
Remove two pins from cartridge housing.
20
Remove snapring that holds bearing in place.
21
Remove bearing and snapring from cartridge housing.

Turn cartridge over.
