Disassembly
1
Remove shaft from housing.
2
Remove O-ring seal and retainer ring from shaft.
3
Use bearing puller, remove bearing from shaft.

Assembly
1
Heat bearing to 275°F. Use heat chalk to check temperature.
2
Install bearing on shaft. Bearing must contact shoulder of shaft.
3
Install retainer ring on shaft.
4
Install O-ring seal on shaft.
5
Install shaft in housing.

Installation
1
Clean gasket mounting surfaces.
2
Install gasket on fuel injection pump and governor drive.
3
Install fuel injection pump and governor drive.
4
Install retainer and four bolts.
