Lubricate two oil ring retainer O-rings with oil. Install two oil ring retainer O-rings on oil ring retainers.

Install oil ring retainers in pedestal cover. Torque to 15 ft lb.

Fill pedestal with oil to level indicated on side of pedestal (about six qt are required).

Wrap vent threads with anti-seize tape. Install vent in pedestal cover and hand-tighten.
