14 Install new self-locking nut on shaft.

Using torque wrench and bearing locknut adapter, torque self-locking nut to 400 ft lb.

Install drive end oil slinger on shaft.
17 Heat new thrust bearing to 150°-175°F. Check temperature with heat chalk.

Install bearing on shaft with wide shoulder of inner race against oil slinger.

Install inner spacer of matched pair of bearing spacers on shaft.

Heat inner race of radial load bearing 150°-175°F. Check temperature with heat chalk.

Install radial load bearing on shaft against bearing spacer.

Install pedestal legs. Install eight bolts and eight nuts. Torque bolts to 170 ft lb.

Install rotor case on pedestal. Install six bolts. Torque bolts to 170 ft lb.

Lubricate bearing cap O-ring with oil.

Install O-ring in groove of bearing cap.

Install bearing cap on pedestal with drain port down. Install three bolts. Torque bolts to 104 ft lb.

Install column gage in tapered hole on side of pedestal.

Install oil drain plug.

Mount pedestal assembly to pump stand. Tilt pump until pump center line is vertical.

Install bearing outer race against bearing cap.

Install outer bearing spacer from matched set on outer race of radial load bearing.

Place two oil rings in bottom of pedestal so that driveshaft will pass through them when rotor assembly is
installed.
