Unscrew line nut. Disconnect oil tube from oil pressure gage. Remove elbow.

Pull temperature sensor line through rubber grommet.

Remove instrument panel assembly.

Remove two nuts and bolts. Remove voltage regulator from mounting bracket.

Installation
1
Install voltage regulator on mounting bracket. Install two bolts and nuts.

Install elbow on oil pressure gage. Install oil tube on elbow. Tighten line nut.

Connect all wires to switches and gages. Solder as required. Connect wires to voltage regulator. Remove tags.

Pull temperature sensor line through rubber grommet.

Aline holes on instrument panel and mounting bracket. Install four flatwashers, bolts, lockwashers, and nuts.

Install temperature sensor in engine. Tighten line nut.
7
Secure temperature sensor line with wire ties as required.
8
Connect battery (2-16).
9
For raw water pump assembly: Install shrouds (para 2-34).
