Remove elbow.6Pull temperature sensor line through rubber grommet.7Remove instrument panel assembly.8Remove two nuts and bolts. Remove voltage regulator from mounting bracket.b.Installation1Install voltage regulator on mounting bracket. Install two bolts and nuts.2Install elbow on oil pressure gage. Install oil tube on elbow. Tighten line nut.3Connect all wires to switches and gages. Solder as required. Connect wires to voltage regulator. Remove tags.4Pull temperature sensor line through rubber grommet.5Aline holes on instrument panel and mounting bracket. Install four flatwashers, bolts, lockwashers, and nuts.6Install temperature sensor in engine. Tighten line nut.7Secure temperature sensor line with wire ties as required.8Connect battery (2-16).9For raw water pump assembly: Install shrouds (para 2-34).2-47
