c. Remove four through bolts (5).
d. Remove fan end housing (6). Spring washer (7) will come off with cover.
e. Remove drive end housing (8) and rotor shaft (9) as an assembly from stator housing (14).
f. Remove three capscrews (10) and remove drive end housing (8) from rotor shaft (9).
g. Remove bearings(11 and 12) from rotor shaft (9).
h. Remove bearing retainer(13) from rotor shaft (9).
CAUTION
If either bearing is damaged, replace both to prevent early failure.
Replace any damaged parts.
a. Install bearing retainer (14) on rotor shaft (10).
NOTE
Use a brass drift to seat bearings.
b. Install bearings(11 and 12).
c. Install drive end housing (8) on rotor shaft (9), Secure with three capscrews (10).
d. Install drive end housing (8) and rotor shaft (9) as an assembly into stator housing (14).
e. Install fan end housing (6) with spring washer (7) in housing bore and secure with four through bolts (5).
f. Install fan (4) and secure with retaining clip (3).
g. Install fan shroud (2) and secure with three capscrews (1).
