WARNING
The weight of the generator is 4300 Ibs., do not exceed load limits of lifting device. Do
not operate lifting device without safety latches on hooks. Failure to observe these
precautions could result in serious injury and damage to equipment.
d. Using suitable lifting device, remove generator (13) and vibration pads (12).
a. Inspect vibration pads for rips, tears and elasticity.
b. Replace any worn or damaged parts.
c. For repair of the generator, refer to TM 5-6115-545-12 and TM 5-6115-545-34
a. Position vibration pads (12) on trailer bed.

b. Using suitable lifting device, position generator (13) on vibration pads (12).
c. Install vibration pads (10 and 11) and brackets (8 and 9).
d. Secure brackets (8 and 9) to generator (13) using capscrews (1), lockwashers (2), washers (3) and nut insert (7)
Torque to 180-200 ft. Ibs.
e. Secure brackets (8 and 9) to trailer using capscrews (4), washers (3), bushing (6), lockwasher (2) and nuts (5)
Torque to 180-200 ft. Ibs.
