Drycleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and property.
Wear chemical resistant gloves when using solvents, and avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact.
Do not use near open flame or excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 degrees F to 138
degrees F (38 degrees C to 59 degrees C).

Cleaning. Clean all parts with drycleaning solvent.

Inspection. Inspect all parts for damage.
3-48. CHEMICAL SOLUTION TANKS WITH COVERS.

General. The chemical solution tanks (fig. 3-33) are steel, lined with synthetic rubber molded to the metal. They
are used to store a supply of chemicals for the solution feeder pump. One tank supplies calcium hypochlorite and the
other ferric chloride.
