Disconnect extension cable from pump cable (33, fig. 2-6) and store in van body.
(4)
Roll pump cable (33) on cable bracket (16, fig. 2-18).
(5)
Place distribution pump on mounting pads in rear section of van body floor adjacent to taw water pump.
Secure pump with four 3/8-16 x 1 1/4 inch capscrews and lockwashers.
(6)
Store gasoline engine driven distribution pump in trailer.
g.
Water Lines Between Storage Tanks.
(1)
Disconnect male end of hose (8, fig. 2-6) from second storage tank female inlet (7).
(2)
Install cap in female inlet (7).
(3)
Remove hose (8) from adapter (9) and lay hose aside out of the way.
(4)
Remove adapter (9) from valve (10) and disconnect valve (10) from adapter (9).
(5)
Remove adapter (9) from first storage tank female outlet (11).
(6)
Install cap in female outlet (11).
(7)
Store adapters and valves in accessory stowage box (14, fig. 1-3).
h.
Filter Water Hose.
(1)
Remove hose (14, fig. 2-6) from first storage tank (12).
(2)
Disconnect hose (14) from van body filtered water hose outlet (16).
(3)
Lay the hose aside out of the way.
i.
Effluent Launder.
(1)
If necessary, lower effluent launder.
(2)
Install wood braces (2, fig. 2-8) between mounting bracket (1) and effluent launder (4) and secure with
steel bands (5).
j.
Miscellaneous.
(1)
Install hose adapter caps (5 and 6, fig. 1-2) on van body filtered and waste water hose outlets and raw
water inlet (11).
(2)
Install cap on generator and raw water pump cable inlet (32, fig. 2-6).
