SECTION II. MOVEMENT TO A NEW WORKSITE
4-5. DISMANTLING FOR MOVEMENT.
The truck and trailer, on which the equipment is mounted, are all that is required for moving the water purification
equipment to a new location. A minimum of disassembly is required and care must be exercised to prevent damage.
a.
Generator, Electrical Cables, and Ground Rods.
(1)
Disconnect main power cable from generator.
(2)
Pull power cable into van through cable outlet (7, fig. 1-2) then coil and store cable at foot of control panel.
(3)
Lower generator side panels and fasten them securely. Install paulin on trailer, leaving rear flap up until all
supporting supplies and equipment have been loaded.
(4)
Disconnect ground cable assembly (35, fig. 2-6) from trailer mounted generator (36) and store it in trailer.
(5)
Disconnect ground cable assembly (31) from van body and store it in van body.
b.
Waste Water Lines.
(1)
Disconnect hose from van body filter waste water outlet (17, fig. 2-6).
(2)
Disconnect hose from van body erdlator waste water line outlet (29).
(3)
Coil hoses up and lay aside out of way.
c.
Raw Water Supply Lines and Float.
(1)
Lift raw water suction hose (27, fig. 2-6) from water supply source (26), and remove strainer (25) and float
(24).
(2)
Store strainer (25) in accessory stowage box and float (24) in trailer.
(3)
Disconnect raw water suction hose (27) from adapter (23) on suction side of pump (28).
(4)
Disconnect other end of hose (20) from van body raw water hose inlet (30).
(5)
Disconnect other end of hose (20) from van body raw water hose inlet (30).
(6)
Lay the hoses aside out of the way.
