CAUTION
Make sure the packing is not binding on the shaft as this will cause undue wear on the packing.

Adjust packing by loosening or tightening nut (4) until there is a slight drag on shaft when turned by hand.

CHEMICAL SOLUTION FEEDER ASSEMBLY.

Removal.
(1)
Disconnect cable plug connector (1, fig. 3-22) from side of chemical solution feeder.
(2)
Remove clamps (2) and disconnect discharge and suction tubes (3 and 4) from solution feeder.
(3)
Remove nuts and washers from screws (5) and remove screws.
