Clean all parts with cleaning solvent', P-D-680, and allow to dry.
(2)
Inspect main housing for oil leaks, cracks and external damage.
(3)
Inspect feeder motor housing and wiring for damaged components and signs of overheating.
(4)
Inspect diaphragm pump components for leaks and cracks.
(5)
Inspect baseplate and stanchions for cracks

Installation.
(1)
Position four screws (7, fig. 4-53.1) and four stanchions (6) on baseplate (8).
(2)
Position chemical feeder assembly (9) on stanchions (6) and install four nuts (5).
(3)
Connect four plastic tubes (4) to chemical solution feeder assembly (9) and secure each hose with hose
clamp (2) by tightening screws.
(4)
Connect electrical cable (4) to junction box (3).
(a)
Insert electrical cable (4) into motor junction box (3Y.
(b)
Connect ground wire (16) to floor of junction box (3) by installing screw (14) and nut (15) assembly.
(c)
Attach two feeder power wires (12) to two supply power wires (13).
(d)
Slide cover (11) on motor junction box (3) and install two screws (10).

CONNECTING TUBE BETWEEN EFFLUENT LAUNDER AND WET WELL.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Loosen screws in clamps (16, fig. 3-24).
(2)
Slide clamps (16) off rubber tube onto metal tubes (13 and 15).
(3)
Roll rubber tube (14) from two metal tubes (13 and 15).
(4) Remove two clamps (16).

Replace. Replace any unserviceable parts.
b.
Installation.
(1)
Place a clamp (16, fig. 3-24) around each metal tube (13 and 15).
(2)
Wet the rubber tube (14) in filtered water and roll it from each end to about half the length.
(3)
Roll one end of rubber tube (14) on metal tube (13) and the other end on metal tube (15).
(4)
Slide two clamps (16) over rubber tube and tighten screws.
