Reassembly of Filter Housing Cover.

Screw pipe bushing (10, fig. 4-54) in filter housing cover (1).

Screw nipple (9) in pipe bushing (10).
(3)
Screw angle valve (8) on nipple (9).
(4)
Screw adapter (7) in valve (8).
(5)
Connect tubing (5) to pipe nipple (7) and secure with hose clamp (6).

Position filter housing cover (1) on filter housing (8, fig. 4-55).

Position clamping ring (2, fig. 4-54) around filter housing and cover and secure with two bolts (4) and nuts

Install diatomite filter assembly (para. 3-46).

Install air release valve (para. 4-106).
4-76. WASTE WATER TANK AND GRATING.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Remove grating (1, fig. 3-32) from tank (10).
(2)
Remove pipe (4) from elbow (2) and elbow from nipple (3).
(3)
Remove two capscrews (5) and lockwashers (6) from van floor (9).
(4)
Disconnect union (8) and remove tank. Remove elbow (7) from tank.
b.
Replace. Replace all damaged parts.
c.
Installation.
(1)
Install elbow (7, fig. 3-32) in tank (10) and tighten.
(2)
Position tank (13) so that mounting holes align with holes in van floor (9). Secure tank with two capscrews
(5) and lockwashers (6).
