Slide one pillow block (11) on shaft (9) far enough to clear short keyway, but do not tighten setscrew (5).

Position a key (6) in short keyway in shaft (9).

Install gasket (7) and washer (8) on shaft (9) between the bearing (11) and coupling (4).

Position the flexible coupling (4) on shaft (9) and key (6) so the end of the shaft is through one-half of the
coupling. Lock the coupling to the shaft with a setscrew (5).

Position the two halves of dust cover (3) over the coupling (4) and connect halves the shims (2) and
screws (1).
(7)
Install long key (14) in keyway in shaft (9).
