Fill the holding tank to the "low" level mark with cold water. Add approximately 4-5 ounces of salt for each
gallon of water. For example: If the 310 gallon holding tank on the Model 49 R/A is filled to the low level mark (90
gallon), use 90 x 5 450 or 28 lbs. of salt for the initial prime. Stir the contents of the tank until all the salt is in solution.
Do not run unit during this time.
Place lid on top of tank so unit will operate.
