2-84. AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT)

Removal and Disassembly
1
Remove cover, filter, and interior housing seal. If replacing filter only, go to subpara b, step 8.

Remove plug, indicator, and fitting from back of housing.

Loosen two hose clamps.
NOTE
Two persons required for next step.

Have one person support weight of air cleaner housing. Remove six bolts and flatwashers. Remove housing.

Remove nut from kill cable. Remove cable from support.
6
Remove three bolts and flatwashers. Remove support.
7
Remove five bolts and flatwashers. Remove mounting bracket.
8
Remove two hose clamps. Remove hose.
9
Remove adapter from turbocharger. Remove two seals.
