2-123. SUCTION ADAPTER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT)
b. Disassembly

Loosen two hose clamps on suction adapter. Remove two hoses.

Remove hose from valve V-10 nipple.
3
Loosen three hose clamps on T-fitting. Remove three hoses from T-fitting.
4
Loosen hose clamp on valve V-8 nipple. Remove hose.
5
Remove hose from valve V-9.
6
Remove vent pipe from valve V-9 assembly.
7
Remove two quick-disconnect fittings from suction adapter.
8
Remove two nipples from valve V-10.
9
Remove barrel adapter, three nipples, and T-fitting from valve v-9.
10
Remove quick-disconnect fitting, two adapters, and two nipples from valve V-8.
c. Assembly
1
Install two nipples, two adapters, and quick-disconnect fitting on valve V-8.
2
Install three nipples, barrel adapter, and T-fitting on valve v-9.
3
Install two nipples on valve V-10.
4
Install two quick-disconnect fittings on suction adapter.
5
Install vent pipe on valve V-9 assembly.
6
Install hose on valve V-9.
7
Install hose on valve V-8 nipple. Tighten hose clamp.
8
Install three hoses on T-fitting. Tighten hose clamps.
9
Install hose on valve V-10 nipple.
10
Install two hoses on suction adapter. Tighten hose clamps.
11
Install suction adapter assembly (subpara d).
