2-120. DISCONNECT ADAPTER REPLACEMENT (CONT)
a. Removal
1
Disconnect threaded hose from adapter.

Remove two nuts, bolts, coupling halves, and gasket. Remove adapter.
b. Installation
1
Check gasket for damage. Replace as required.

Apply thin coat of silicone lubricant to gasket lips and outside of gasket.

Place gasket over end of adapter, being sure it doesn't overhang end of connection.
4
Aline end of high pressure hose with adapter. Slide gasket to center position between grooves. No portion of
gasket should overhang grooves.
5
Place coupling halves over gasket, making sure keys are in grooves.
6
Install two bolts. Place nuts on bolts and hand-tighten.
